The more you wear this shoe, the more colors will start to reveal themselves along the marbled rubber outsole. The midsole and outsole design of the Vapor 2 remains unchanged, but we have enhanced the lock-feel in the midfoot and heel area for improved agility and sharper movements. The collar is more comfortable than it was on the 2, too. The forefoot is more flexible because we shrunk the forefoot Air Zoom unit. You still get the responsive cushioning at the highest push-off point of your forefoot, but now there's more flex. The supportive forefoot piece features a deeper flex notch to improve flexibility. And there's more grip and stick on the forefoot piece as well. A full midfoot fit band allows you to pull the laces tighter to enhance the fit and enable faster cuts.
